چکیده

Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) have attracted increasing attention during recent years. Due to their unique size dependent properties, lipid nanoparticles offer possibilities to develop new therapeutics. The ability to incorporate drugs into nanoparticles offers a new prototype in drug delivery thus realizing the dual goal of both controlled release and site-specific drug delivery. Drug delivery to the skin is widely used for local and systemic delivery and has potential to be improved by application of nanoparticulate formulations. If investigated appropriately, solid lipid nanoparticles may open new opportunities in therapy of complex diseases which is difficult

Application of Supercritical Fluid ‎Technology for Preparation of Drug Loaded ‎Solid Lipid Nanoparticles

Small changes in pressure or temperature, close to the critical point, lead to large changes in solubility of supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2). Environmentally friendly supercritical CO2 is the most popular and inexpensive solvent which has been used for preparation of nanodrugs and nanocarriers in drug delivery system with supercritical fluid technology. Delivery...

Preparation, statistical optimization and in vitro characterization of solid lipid nanoparticles as a potential vehicle for transdermal delivery of tramadol hydrochloride as a hydrophilic Compound

As encapsulation of hydrophilic drugs in the solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) is still a challenging issue, the aim of this study was to prepare SLNs containing tramadol hydrochloride as a hydrophilic compound. The SLNs were prepared using glycerol monostearate (GMS), soy lecithin and tween 80 by double emulsification-solvent evaporation technique. The nanoparticles were optimized through a cent...

Lipid nanoparticles for dermal drug delivery.

Lipid based drug delivery systems have been widely studied and reported over the past decade and offer a useful alternative to other colloidal drug delivery systems. Skin is a popular route of drug delivery for locally and systemically acting drugs and nanoparticles are reported as a potential formulation strategy for dermal delivery. Although the skin acts as a natural physical barrier against...

Preparation, Statistical Optimization and In-vitro Characterization of a Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) Containing Solid Lipid Nanoparticles Encapsulating Amphotericin B: Ion Paired Complexes with Distearoyl Phosphatidylglycerol

The aim of this study was to prepare dry powder inhalers (DPIs) containing amphotericin B-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (AMB-SLNs) as an alternative approach for prevention of pulmonary aspergillosis. For solubilizing AMB in small amounts of organic solvents ion paired complexes were firstly formed by establishing electrostatic interaction between AMB and distearoyl phosphatidylglycerol (DSP...
